Welcome to the Westport PBA
The Westport Police
Benevolent Association (PBA) is committed to helping members of the
community that are less fortunate or experiencing life altering events.
The Westport PBA provides scholarships and aid to its many members and
the local community in times of need or grief, participates in community
affairs and donates to various charitable causes. The Westport PBA was
founded in 1957 and is made up of all full time and retired officers.
The PBA is a support organization for our membership and also plays
an active philanthropic role in the community.
The PBA is committed
to help better the community by donating money and volunteering with
charities. Some of the organizations that we have donated resources
to include:
St. Jude’s Children Hospital
Hole in the Wall Gang Camp
Make a Wish Foundation
CT Special Olympics
The American Cancer Society
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Disabled American Veterans
Toys for Tots
Westport Rotary
other local charities
The PBA continues to
support Westport and local area police officers inflicted by long term
illnesses and injuries with moral and financial contributions. The PBA
purchases toys for local youths in need, and organizes a yearly event
to collect donated toys and gifts for the less fortunate in the region.
The Westport Police Department and the PBA received national attention
for its efforts in 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. This is just
a sample of what we do.
Help the Westport PBA
help others by making a donation this year. We will not be soliciting
donations by phone. Donations made to the PBA directly benefit local
charities, community programs, and injured/sick police officers.
We thank you for supporting us in our endeavor of helping others. Every
Donation is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your
support.
